At DPS, our employees' well-being is our number one priority.
We vet all potential clients to make sure that you will only work with friendly dogs/cats.
You're also trained in-house, so you will know what to expect when you go into the field, solo.
Day to day, working for DPS looks like this:
After you're trained, you will visit multiple homes in West Hartford (90% of visits), Hartford, and Bloomfield and complete 20, 30, and 45 minute dog walks (and sometimes pet sits too).
For Weekend and Weeknight work, there may be 1-2 , 6-7, or even 9-12; it depends on employee's wishes and client demand.
If you love dogs and cats and live nearby, this job is PURRfect for great exercise and extra cash in the MOST fun way.
You are paid a wage and mileage reimbursement from our company, and tips from the majority of our customers.
With wages and tips, you will always make a minimum of $17/hr.
; if you make less, DPS will make up the difference in your paycheck.
(Hourly calculations do not include mileage reimbursement, that is extra!) Employees receive their first raise after two full payrolls, post training.
