SR Electrical Engineer-

Electrical Engineer - Associate Level (Next level is a Principal of the firm)
Basic Qualifications:
oMinimum BS in Electrical Engineering
oConnecticut P.E. Required. Massachusetts P.E. also Desirable
oMinimum of 15 Years Experience
oExperience with Preparation of Studies, Master Plans, Bid Drawings and Specifications for:oCHP Plants
oHospitals, Institutional Facilities, Commercial Facilities, Colleges and Universities
oCampus Utility Distribution
oStrong Analytical Skills Including Experience with Power Analysis Software Packages such as SKM
oStrong Communication Skills, Including Business and Technical Writing.
oProficient with Industry Standards and Codes such as NEC, IEEE, and INETA.
oExperience Required with Power Distribution Desirable - 208V to 15 kV, Including:oPower Quality.
oSelective Coordination.
oShort Circuit and Arc Flash Hazard Analysis.
oProtective Relaying.
oCo-Generation / CHP Systems.
oGeneration Systems: ?Standby.
?Operating in Parallel with Utility.
?Multiple Synchronized Units.
oUtility Interface and Coordination.
oLoad Flow and Reliability Analysis.
oDistribution Equipment: Switchgear, Substations,Transformers, Switches.
oReview of Installed/Existing Systems.
Position Will Require Candidate to:
oConcurrently Work on Multiple Projects.
oWork as Part of a Team of Engineers and Designers.
oSupervise Subordinate Staff.
oProject Manager for Select Electrically Focused Projects.
oProvide Technical Support to Other Staff Firm Wide On Power Topics.
oVisit Project Sites to Interface with Clients and Collect Data.
oAttend Meetings Both at Office and at Client Facilities.
oProvide Quality Control Review of Electrical Documents.
Desirable Qualifications Beyond Basic Listed Above:
oWillingness to Assume Electrical Department Head Duties
oInterest in Serving as a Resource for Electrical Designers and Engineers

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
